I Am Not Impressed, This Is Not Impressive.

Everybody lives a lie they create so willingly, so knowingly, so self deceptively, until one day they realize that every single person around them is doing the same exact thing. I think its about time we all woke up and stopped pretending to be these superpowers we are not and never will be. It's great to have aspirations, to wish to be something wonderful is a fantastic thing, but to claim that you ARE that? To claim that you have reached this point and to speak like you are something so special and so wonderful that you have the power and right to condemn others for their actions and the power and right to point out the flaws in the people around you? That is where you go wrong. Nobody has that right, nobody is better than anybody else. FLAWS, DOWNFALLS, whatever word you like to use to describe it: we all have it. We all deal with it. Some of us choose to ignore it and say things like, "I really want to get drunk tonight." hanging out with a group of friends after church. But then the next day to praise Jesus for helping you overcome this problem you HAD with alcohol, and condemning others for doing the same exact thing you were doing not 24 hours ago. Is it maturity? I don't know, but whatever it is, we all need a large dose of it. And quick, before we all start slowly killing each other through our non actions and our apathy toward growth and self realization.
