People need to learn to be more sensitive, myself included. It's so easy to let a seemingly innocent comment fly and ruin someone's day. I have a hard time watching what I say, but this week has given me a new perspective on how important it is to do that. I often forget how easily we are hurt, as humans, as people just trying to survive in a world that seemingly becomes an increasingly difficult place to wear a smile. Your words matter, more than you know. The things you say represent you, your integrity, and your spirit. It's so difficult to make sure everything lines up.
Things I'm thankful for today: fresh pow, my sweet puppy, a little brother who kicks my ass on skis, sunshine, mom food, having a home base, a handful of sweet sweet friends, and good coffee.
