Listened to a consecutive 3 hours of Joshua Radin on the drive back to snowy Bend from sunny Oakland yesterday. It's always so strange to me to realize how weather affects the way you perceive things. This song, for example: Winter by Joshua Radin. When I listened to it in the relatively warm afternoon in Redding it sounded like a nice love song, but when I listened to it again on a road covered in snow between Medford and Crater Lake it was the most depressing thing I thought I'd ever heard and I could have cried on the spot. Weird how our bodies chemistry makes us behave.
