House of Cards You Fall Hard

So I was reading bits and pieces from Cosmopolitan Greetings by Ginsberg and was struck by a notion he assumed to be true while writing, and that is this: "first thought best thought."  So often I revise my words and try to come up with better ways to say them, but am left reverting back to my initial ideas and realizing that the way I penned them was indeed the best way I could have at that moment.  I wish people would realize this is true for every other spoken instance as well, not simply for writing.  The first thing you want to say is probably the most accurate depiction of what you are feeling, and rather than try to make it politically correct or easy to digest for the general public, just say it.  The first thought truly is the best thought, so stop second guessing yourself and wishing you could take things back that you've said or done, because at that point in time they were exactly what you wanted to say, or exactly what you needed to do.

Soundtrack:
Avett Brothers - January Wedding
& little bits and pieces of whatever Jack is playing on his computer over there
