Constant Chaos

What if life becomes one continuous circle of chaos, then when do these great changes occur?  Overnight, while the chaos allows the body rest and time is still for the moments he is at peace, perhaps silent transition.  After a particularly interesting evening that began with red wine and ended up in tears and a pile of clothes on the floor, change in it's ugliest form?  Chaotic moment to chaotic moment, maybe we don't even notice the great changes occurring within and around us, maybe they are constant and we are oblivious.  I'm sitting here at the edge of this dock, straining my eyes to see even five feet past my fingertips but I'm failing.  Of course I play it safe, of course I don't jump.  All great changes are preceded by someone other than me.
